Software Engineer, Team Lead

While still heavily involved in engineering, I also guide a team of engineers by ensuring we maintian a healthy culture, a set of balanced goals, and steady technical and career growth. I also work directly with product leads and client relations specialsts to ensure our projects are on track and that our technical solutions are in line with our business goals.

Software Engineer

I build backend solutions to improve data pipelines for healthcare payers and providers. I implement frontend solutions for our real-time users as well. This is done with Ruby, Rails, Vue and a hefty serving of AWS cloud tools and services.

Software Engineer

As a full stack developer I implemented and supported web applications by writing client-side and server-side code across many languages and frameworks. I also maintained a complete CI/CD pipeline for several applications using Chef, Vagrant, Virtual Box, AWS, and Codeship.

Field Staff

I coordinated hospitality programs to assist and improve relationships between international students and local communities. I trained and managed more than 30 team members on communication and operating processes of the organization. I budgeted for and coordinated partnerships for our weekly and annual events. Before moving on we began a monthly dinner program that increased both local and international student involvement by three times.
